Athletic Communications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area and two (2) years of collegiate or professional level public relations experience. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
Screening will begin immediately until a candidate has been selected.
The department is especially interested in candidates who have strong knowledge or understanding of social media best practices.
Monday – Friday
8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Will require work beyond normal schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and travel.

Possesses media relations skills.
Knowledge of sporting press box procedures, techniques, facilities, and equipment.
Ability to utilize Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.).
Must be able to comply with all Athletic Department, University, Board of Trustees,
NCAA

Coordinates the communication strategies for the assigned Tigers men’s soccer, volleyball and softball programs, and other athletic programs as needed.

Works independently to develop concepts, design, and coordinate the printing orelectronic distribution of a range of public relations collateral and graphics.

Writes and edits an array of print content including press releases, game previews, recaps, features, and other material with many pieces produced on tight deadlines.
