The Assistant Director, Creative Video for Maryland Football will assist with the video production needs of the Maryland Football program. This position will report to the Assistant Athletic Director, Creative Video for Maryland Football.
The Assistant Director, Creative Video for Maryland Football will assist in the development of the content planning, production, and delivery of Maryland Football’s creative video assets. Emphasis will be placed on digital, video board, and internal projects.
The Assistant Director, Creative Video for Maryland Football will support the day to day of the student workers hired to assist with the football program’s creative video efforts.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree required in Video Production, graphic design, or a related field with experience.
Experience:
1-2 years of experience with non-linear editing (Premiere, Final Cut), graphics programs (Photoshop, Illustrator), and two (2) year’s experience with motion graphics programs (After Effects, Cinema 4D).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proficiency with Mac systems and Adobe Creative Suite
Ability to produce and create exciting audio-visual mediums
This position requires flexible work hours, including frequent evenings and weekends.
Preferences:
Preference will be given to those candidates with Division I Power-5 production experience, specifically with a revenue-generating sport, and to those with provable experience in event video production.

The scope of the position frequently requires weekend, evening and holiday work (Non-standard work hours). While performing the essential functions of the job, the employee operates a computer and other office devices such telephones, copy machines, fax machines, etc; Constantly moves about the facility and event site before, during and after events to service clients; constantly communicates via telephone, email and in-person with others to exchange accurate information. Standing, walking, kneeling/crouching, balancing and lifting up to 30 pounds (Transport of all video equipment, including cameras, tripods, projectors, screens, etc).
