Stanford Athletics is seeking a talented and innovative Assistant Director, Digital Strategy to oversee the digital presence for the Stanford Athletics and Stanford Men’s or Women’s Basketball digital platforms. This role will focus on developing and implementing comprehensive content strategies, managing social media channels, and working with other External Relations units to optimize business objectives through digital platforms, including GoStanford.com and the Stanford Athletics Mobile App. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the fast-evolving digital landscape in sports, demonstrate creativity in multimedia content creation, have a passion for engaging with fans and the broader community, and showcase a desire to push the Stanford Athletics brand forward.

DAPER’s Integrity:
This position, along with all DAPER coaches and staff, is responsible for the integrity of Stanford’s intercollegiate athletics program, recreation and wellness department, and for the reputation of Stanford University. This position is responsible for ensuring that your involvement with DAPER activities maintains the integrity of the University’s reputation and does not negatively impact the relationship between the University and its faculty, staff, students, and alumni. Additionally, this position must comply with University policies and procedures, NCAA, and conference rules and regulations.
The expected pay range for this position is $81,309 to $82,000 per annum.
Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
