Position Function:
The Assistant Director of Donor Engagement and Experience will serve in a support role for the Bulldog Club donor engagement and experience team. This individual will be responsible for supporting all donor engagement and experience initiatives to support overall donor relations and execute the holistic stewardship plan including, but not limited to, donor event planning and execution, donor trip preparation, support of all department-hosted reunion events, M-Club events, and support of donor acknowledgement and recognition. This position will report to the Director of Donor Engagement & Experience.

Apply NowEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
Work closely with Director to support all stewardship initiatives and efforts to include (primary responsibility denoted where applicable):
Ideate, order, and package all suite holder gifts for football season as well as suite holder and loft holder gifts for baseball; coordinate with premium seating team and AD Office on gift packaging, presentation, and gift notes.
Directly oversee all event operations for M-Club events and department-hosted donor or stakeholder events to include, but not limited to:
Assist director with all donor event/experience planning and execution to include, but not limited to shareholder society events, facilities/capital projects donor events, and all other donor events/experiences; primary event responsibilities including:
Collaborate with football and basketball programs’ operations teams to produce donor travel packets for road game travel to be sent to each donor via traveling donor representative; provide donor information to each programs’ operations team required for travel as well as donor scouting reports, as requested by head coaches.
Collaborate with REVEL team to manage business side of rentals – revenue tracking, cleaning invoicing/rental agreements.
Assist Director with ISPs, as requested.
Manage any special needs/requests for game-by-game rentals of baseball lounge or loft.
Assist in producing and/or updating donor scouting reports, as necessary or requested.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field with one (1) year of experience in fundraising or related area.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree and 2+ years of fundraising experience at an NCAA institution.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• This role is an integral member of the development team, and the position requires an ability to communicate effectively both in written and oral form.
• Ability to problem-solve in a timely fashion.
• Sensitivity to the needs of a wide range of internal and external constituencies is required.
• The ability to take direction.
• The ability to be flexible, work independently, take initiative, manage multiple projects, prioritize a high-volume of work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Familiarity with MS Office suite.
• The ability to manage confidential information with appropriate discretion and tact is essential.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort
• Frequent external imposed deadlines set and revised beyond one’s control; interruptions influence priorities; difficult to anticipate nature or volume of work with certainty beyond a few days; meeting of deadlines and coordination of unrelated activities are key to position; involves conflict-resolution or similar interactions involving emotional issues or stress on a regular basis.
• Occasionally requires lifting, bending, or other physical exertion. Often, it involves exposure to one or more elements such as heat, cold, noise, dirt, chemicals, etc.
• Job frequently requires walking, standing, lifting, sitting, reaching, talking, hearing, and handling objects with hands.
• Requires handling of heavy weight objects up to 100 lbs. on a regular basis and on occasion up to 150 lbs.
• Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
