Assists with the oversight of hiring, training, scheduling, and management of all full-time, part-time, and student personnel to ensure that Florida Tech athletics provides a positive experience for all participants and spectators
Assists with the development, implementation, and oversight of the game operations budget provided by the university. Develop fundraising activities and events to supplement the budget needs of the program including cooperating fully with the University in promoting the Program, the University’s Athletics Advancement fundraising, the University, the University’s Alumni Association, and other University-affiliated organizations. Such cooperation includes, but is not limited to, (a) attendance and participation at meetings, events, and media outlets of the University and University-affiliated organizations; (b) endorsement of products and performance of promotional services; and (c) personal appearances, in each case as directed by the Director of Athletics
Serves as the secondary point of contact for Campus Security, Melbourne Police, National Cleaning Service (NCS), Panther Dining Services, and other outside vendors for support of game elements
Assists with the supervision of the day-to-day functions for the athletic ticket operations including but not limited to:
Selling onsite and online tickets, printing, and distributing both season and single-game tickets, and running sales reports
Mailing/emailing season ticket renewals and processing payments
Administration of the pass lists in accordance with NCAA regulations
Responsible for demonstrating a commitment to and complying with the policies and guidelines established by the Federal Government, University, Athletics Department, NCAA, and Sunshine State Conference (SSC) for conducting all program activities including but not limited to:

Standards for ethical conduct are established and enforced by the University, Florida Institute of Technology, the SSC, and the NCAA
The Director of Game Operations will be a Campus Security Authority (“CSA”) as defined by the Clery Act. As a CSA, the Director of Game Operations will comply with university policies on the reporting of crime statistics and related information to the official designated by the University for the purposes of Clery Act reporting
In compliance with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, the Director of Game Operations will be a Responsible Employee as defined by University policies on Sexual Harassment and Sexual Misconduct, a Responsible Employee, the Director of Game Operations will report incidents of sexual misconduct (including sexual harassment and sexual violence) and other inappropriate sexual conduct to the University’s Title IX Coordinator or other appropriate designee as required by University policy
Assists with the coordination of administrative operations in adhering to all athletic and University policies and protocols, use of all athletic and university software and technology systems, documentation, travel arrangements, equipment/supplies maintenance, orders, and community service
Demonstrates establishing positive, mutually respectful, and effective working relationships with scholar-athletes, coaches, administrators, faculty, alumni, and the public Other duties assigned by the Associate Director of Athletics for Business Operations or Director of Athletics
Requirements Include:
Previous experience working in an athletic game operations role preferred
Minimum 2–5 years of experience required in area of expertise
Bachelor’s degree required in Sport Management, Sports Facilities, Coaching, or other athletic-related discipline; Master’s degree preferred

The Annual Security and Fire Safety Report

Official Transcripts
Official transcripts of all collegiate work must be sent directly from the attended institution to the Office of Human Resources prior to the first day of employment. All international degrees must have a course-by-course official evaluation and translation sent to the Human Resources Office directly from an evaluation company affiliated with the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services, Inc.
