Position Description:
The position will Assist with publicity efforts for the VCSU Athletic Department. Enhance the perception of VCSU athletics by students, faculty, staff, alumni, donors, and recruits. The Marketing/Promotion/Asst SID will assist in the daily management, development, and implementation of all marketing and promotional efforts including student and community outreach, as well as game day atmosphere and hospitality.Primary responsibilities include assisting in the implementation of marketing plans; co-ordinate on-court/field, pre-game, half-time and post-game events; assist in growth of single game promotions; assist in the development of printed materials; generate press releases, feature stories and immediate informational updates; assist with improving the fan experience on gameday, including PA scripting, music playlists and video board content. This position is responsible for assisting in all phases of sports information.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Communications

Compensation:
$46,000 annually and is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
