JOB SUMMARY
The Assistant Director of Ticketing Operations and Service position is responsible for managing all aspects related to intercollegiate athletics ticketing operations and service for assigned ticketed sports and events. This position assists with the daily ticket office operations and general sales, with responsibility for season and single game sales, fan retention, premium sales, ticketing manifests, group outings, establish timelines, sale projections/reports, staffing, control measures and implementation of ticketing initiatives.
The Assistant Director of Ticketing Operations and Service is a highly organized person who will work collaboratively with administration, compliance, event management, facilities, marketing and development, to create and promote initiatives and provide outstanding customer service.
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to, allocation of player guest tickets, premium tickets, recruit ticketing for high school athletes and coaches to ensure NCAA compliance.
The Assistant Director of Ticketing Operations and Service, position reports directly to the Asssistant Athletic Director of Ticketing, Sales and Service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Ticket Office Operations
Assist with managing the daily ticket office operations supporting intercollegiate athletics and special events as specified. Foster and maintain strong working relationships with campus stakeholders and fans. Maintain proper documentation, policies, and procedures for the ticket office.
Education, Training and Service
Responsible for handling timely and quality customer service. Use accurate decision-making skills to resolve issues that arise. Works with ticket software provider to set up events, develop and maintain seating manifests, premium experiences, and packages, maintains financial records and settlements.
Compliance and Integrity
Reconciles ticket issues and works closely with the business office to ensure proper cash handling and control procedures. Works closely with athletics compliance to ensure NCAA and conference policies and procedures are adhered to.
Strategic Analysis
Lead efforts regarding daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly sales of ticketing, projections and opportunities for revenue growth. Analyzes data related to redemption, fan retention and premium opportunities. Develops timelines for season ticket packages, pricing models and initiatives.
