The University of Arizona invites applications for the full-time position of Assistant Director, Internal Operations. The position reports to the Head Coach, Football and acts within the rules and regulations of the University, Conference, and NCAA.
The successful candidate must have a high degree of organization, demonstrate strong critical thinking, and possess high integrity and confidentiality. The candidate should demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, and sound judgment.

This position requires the ability work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, and travel for competition and recruiting.

Prioritizing and arranging meetings, conferences, and appointments with key departmental units and leadership, while ensuring Head Coach is available as needed.
Provide ongoing support for the Head Coach.
Directly partner with the athletic department's Internal OperationsUnits to ensure effective communication and collaboration with the head football coach.
Interact with special guests of the program.
Monitor and coordinate daily guest entry for all football support staff, such as monitoring coaches schedules and organizing entry of guests.
Liaison and assist operations and recruiting staff with check in at various events (recruiting, camps, clinics etc).
Manage, organize, prepare, process, and review of accounting materials for head coach, such as purchases, travel and reimbursements.
Maintain accurate record keeping including agenda development and organized meeting minutes when related to head football coach.
Oversee pieces of overall budget, especially those related to organizing, monitoring and purchasing office supplies and other departmental needs requiring sound fiscal judgement.
Additional duties as assigned.

Knowledge of NCAA, Conference, and University of Arizona Rules and Regulations
Proficient in MS Office suite
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Meticulous attention to detail
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and has a positive demeanor
Demonstrated organizational skills, including the ability to plan, establish priorities and successfully manage multiple priority projects

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all organizational levels, and project a positive, professional attitude
Bachelor’s Degree
One year of experience
Must be available to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends and travel as needed in support of the football program

Notice of Availability of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report
In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University’s campuses. These reports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.
