Defiance College, an NAIA institution and member of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC), seeks qualified applicants for a full-time assistant to the Director of Athletic Communications. The individual will assist with coordination of publicity, media relations and promotion of the College’s 18 intercollegiate sports programs. Primary responsibilities will include serving as the main contact for several sports; layout and design of media guides, game-day programs and game-note packets; writing news releases and stories; daily maintenance ofwww.DefianceAthletics.com; keeping statistics and performing other game-day tasks; creating and posting social media content; and other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletic Communications.
