What We Are Looking For
The Assistant Director/Associate Director of Athletic Medicine for Men’s and Women Cross Country/Track & Field serves in the Division of Athletics and reports to the Director of Athletic Medicine for Clinical Care. This position is responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the medical and rehabilitation programs and needs of student-athletes on the Men’s and Women’s Cross Country & Track and Field Teams. A Master's Degree is required along with five to eight years of relevant work experience is preferred. National Athletic Training Certification is required. Texas Athletic Training License is required but can be obtained after employment offer is accepted. The start date for this position will be January 6, 2025.Â
A Master’s Degree and five years of experience is required. Eight years of experience is preferred.

Maintain working knowledge of and adherence to all NCAA, Big 12 Conference, and institution rules and regulations and to communicate immediately any possible infractions of such rules and regulations to the Athletics Compliance staff.Â
Adhere to best practice standards established by the NATA, NCAA CSMAS and similar governing organizations.Â
