Job Summary
An opportunity for an internship exists in the area of athletics administration. The Assistant Director of Athletic Operations and External Relations is a two-year position available in 2025-26 and 2026-27. The intern will provide support to specific varsity teams in event management and special events while representing Bethel University in a Christ-like manner. The intern will also have the opportunity to select an additional area in the Athletics Department where he or she would like to gain experience, or propose another comparable project.

Compensation: The annual salary is $30,000 for each of the two academic years (2025–26 and 2026–27). In addition, $3,000 in professional development funding is available each year to support internship-related expenses.
Travel: This position requires some regional and national travel to attend NCAA-required training andprofessional development opportunities. Orientation for this position will be held July 27th – 29 th , 2025 in Indianapolis, IN. Attendance to this orientation event is a requirement for this internship.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as desktop and/or laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones.

Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position spanning 10 months (August through May). Typically, days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, with the expectation to work specific schedules and hours as identified and communicated by management. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
