Athletic Director and Executive Director of Admission

This position promotes and supports the learning experience of Marian University students by implementing strategies to meet enrollment goals for athletics by sport, assist in athletic recruitment planning, strategies, communication sequences, and marketing to account for athletic recruitment activities. This position will work in tandem with coaching staff and admission counselors throughout the recruitment to enrolled processes.
Essential Functions:
Serve as an active member of the Enrollment team, athletics and admission.
Identify athletic recruits and communicate to the appropriate coaches and admission counselors.
Responsible for working in tandem with admission counselors and coaching staff to ensure a seamless recruitment to enrollment process.
Assist admission counselors in the application completion process for recruits.
Assist in communicating and collecting required documents for all athletic recruits; freshmen, International, and transfer students.
Provide accurate Marian University information to prospective students and families; i.e. programs, requirements, financial aid, visit opportunities.
Encourage and promote enrollment events and programs amongst the coaching staff and recruits.
Lead on campus visit counselor to meet with athletic recruits.
Meet regularly with coaches to identify barriers to recruitment and aid in identifying solutions and strategies via recruitment plans, marketing opportunities, and programming.
Assist coaches in creating and managing their annul recruitment plan, as needed.
Engage with CRM, manage dashboards, and pull data or request intended data for analysis,
Responsible for understanding NCAA compliance requirements and assisting in educating other staff and faculty on NCAA rules and regulations.
Provide updates for each department; admission and athletics.
Participate in work related evening and weekend recruitment and admission activities.
Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, Skills Required:
Bachelor’s degree required. Experience in higher education, admission, athletics, or sales preferred.
Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, organizational, planning, and time management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects at one time, work autonomously, and meet deadlines.
Computer proficiency
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Maintain a high regard for confidentiality and security of all student records
Ability to work with a diverse groups of people.
Flexibility with an evolving work situation
