| Position Summary |
Directly responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of playing and practice surfaces for Jack Turner Complex used by the soccer and softball teams as well as the Track & Field Complex. Responsible for maintaining the Athletic playing/practice surface and providing grounds support for athletic fields of the athletic association. Provide supervision of full-time grounds keepers.

- Supervisory and/or leadership experience.
- Experience in care and maintenance of athletic turf and grounds.
- Knowledge of infield skin, pitching mound, and home plate maintenance and construction. Experience with pesticide selection, applications, and calibrations.

- Specific vision abilities include close and distance vision, and peripheral vision.

Responsible for all aspects of maintenance, upkeep, renovation, and restoration of assigned areas, including common areas and hardscapes. Responsible for ensuring safe playing and practice surfaces for Division I athletes. Responsible for determining sod replacement, scheduling of fertilization, irrigation, pesticide applications, mowing, and striping of practice and competition surfaces based on weather, athletic schedules and agronomic consideration.
