Assistant Director of Athletics and Director of Golf, Missouri Valley College, Marshall, MO

D** uties**: Create and execute a student recruitment plan, consistently producing the required number of new students; Develop and operate a governance framework to bring coherence and cohesion to all aspects of Missouri Valley College’s engagement at all levels; Develop a comprehensive Stakeholder Relationship Management strategy to grow enrollment, realize the value of engagement activities, and provide comprehensive business intelligence for senior management decision making. Priorities will include Change Management, Engagement Ecosystem, and Maintain and Develop Relationships. Assist in shared responsibility for Dual Credit and Orange Carpet Partnership Programs Development and Management; Promote the College within the community and develop partnerships within the industry and high schools; Assess the needs of off-campus high school dual credit/dual enrollment students and school districts by working and co-collaborating with counselors and principals. Formulate strategic plans for recruitment. Work with Admissions or IT to get students from EMP to Colleague Self Service.

Coordinate with the Registrar’s Office what classes will be offered as dual credit at the high school dual enrollment on the MVC campus and dual enrollment online so they may build those options and seats available in Colleague Self Service. Provide a schedule of courses that will be offered on campus, a schedule of dual enrollment online registration form, payment information and textbook information. Assist with the collection of assessment data from dual credit instructors; Coordinate with the IT Department to grant instructors access to Canvas accounts for their face-to-face dual credit courses; Coordinate with IT to provide non-editing course Canvas access to courses for high school faculty-facilitators that are on-site with the students; Oversee the updating of programmatic documents and information (master syllabi, faculty handbooks, student and parent handbooks). This position will also plan and promote sporting events and social, cultural, and recreational activities for the college, attributing about 15 percent of the time spent in the position working with student athletes on the college golf teams. The Assistant Athletic Director will work closely with the Director of Admission and Financial Aid to attract and recruit new student-athletes. This role involves developing and implementing recruitment strategies, managing relationships with prospective athletes and their families, and ensuring compliance with NAIA rules and regulations. The position also involves mentoring and collaborating with coaches and other athletic staff to identify and recruit talented individuals. Responsible for overseeing assistant athletic coaches.

Requirements : Master’s degree in Education or a related field, plus a minimum of two years of related experience at the post-secondary level; Must have experience evaluating coaches and admissions representatives according to institutional guidelines and relevant regulations; Must have experience with new student recruitment, both domestic and international; Must have experience utilizing enrollment management tools to meet and exceed recruitment goals and standards for academic institutions; Must have experience navigating regulations related to higher education in the U.S. and working with various grants and scholarship programs; Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in EMP (Enrollment marketing platform) and Excel. Must have experience with predictive modeling using data analysis and machine learning to forecast student outcomes and optimize institutional strategies; Must have experience with strategic enrollment planning in higher education, including outlining the institution’s enrollment goals, objectives, and strategies for the next 1-5 years; Must have experience working within the constraints of NAIA by-laws, ratings, rules and eligibility.
