Assistant Director of Athletics Compliance
Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume):
Bachelor’s degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Two (2) years of full time experience in a compliance setting in athletics, higher education, legal profession or other industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Understanding of NCAA Compliance Rules (played a Division I, II or III sport, coached in collegiate athletics or as a staff member in a collegiate athletic program). Experience in a NCAA Compliance role at the NCAA, Conference Office or institution. Experience with NCAA Compliance Assistance software. Experience using ARMS Software. Experience working with Admissions and/or Financial Aid Office staff.
Brief Descriptions of Duties:
The Assistant Director of Athletics Compliance will directly assist the Director of Athletics Compliance in the operations of the compliance office. In his/her position as the Assistant Director, he/she will participate in the reviewing, monitoring and reporting of student-athlete eligibility as well as oversee the monitoring of all recruiting activities. Additionally, he/she will provide interpretations, updates on NCAA legislation and rules education to the various athletic department constituencies .

Special Notes:
This is a full-time appointment. FLSA Non Exempt position, eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA.
In addition to the employee's base salary, this position is eligible for $3,400 UUP annual location pay, paid biweekly.
Evening and weekend work will be required at times.
