Job Summary

  • Designs the layout and format for digital and print graphic design content, including selection of colors, images, fonts, logos, and placement, for various marketing and communications needs, audiences, and platforms.
  • Creates images, graphic elements, illustrations, and other visual content using a variety of graphic software, including Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Creates themed templates and images for general university use that align with IU brand guidelines.
  • In consultation with graphic designers, project managers, and/or other key stakeholders, defines printing specifications, refines graphic design project elements, and may work with vendors to quote and/or order large printed design projects.
  • May provide guidance to other Graphic Design Assistants; may make process recommendations to team and/or supervisor.
