The Assistant Director of Marketing will develop, direct, coordinate, and execute strategic marketing plans, production and content for assigned sports, while providing support for football, volleyball, men’s basketball and women’s basketball. This position will focus on marketing assigned sports, while assisting the creative and video teams with content and production to enhance the gameday atmosphere. This position will work with coaches, support staff, and administration to entertain fans at games and provide them with an all-around positive customer experience to encourage retention and future revenue generation. Successful execution of this role will drive ticket sales and event attendance, while enhancing the overall production quality and gameday atmosphere.
Bachelor’s degree preferred, masters desired. Applicants must have a minimum of one year of successful game day production, marketing, sales, solicitation or related experience with intercollegiate athletics.
Working knowledge of
NCAA
rules and interpretations in relation to the athletic marketing and sales area is preferred.
