| Position Specific Responsibilities | |
| Summary of Responsibilities |
Manages the day-to-day operations for the implementation of athletic marketing and communications programs and campaigns including overseeing the fan experience on game days. Develops messaging and marketing strategies that align with department goals and oversees community engagement events and activities.
|
| Essential Functions |
- Develops and implements marketing and sales plans in coordination with other external units. Plans and implements community and athlete engagement events and activities. Ensures an optimal and engaged game day atmosphere.
- Oversees staff production of marketing and advertising materials for various sporting events and activities.
- Assists in the creation of sponsorship inventory and ensures sponsorship fulfillment. Coordinates with multi-media rights holders and fulfills television, radio, print, and new media advertising.
- Secures and oversees coordination of game day music and entertainment, and other fan experience elements.
- Oversees marketing and sales efforts for one (1) or more athletics clubs or activities.
