Brief Summary of Work for this Position

The Athletics Department is seeking a qualified individual to serve as the Assistant Director of

NIL

& Revenue Generation. Reporting to the Director of Athletics, this position will play a crucial role in maximizing opportunities for student-athletes to benefit from Name, Image, and Likeness (

NIL

). This position focuses on generating revenue through strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and fundraising initiatives. The Assistant Director will collaborate with various stakeholders including student-athletes, coaches, alumni, and external partners to maximize

NIL

opportunities while ensuring compliance with the

NCAA

/

CAA

and

UNCW

policies.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and one year of experience related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Master’s degree.

More than one year of experience working

NIL

at a collegiate athletics department or collective associated with a collegiate athletics department.

Extensive functional knowledge of social media platforms, and experience managing/developing a brand identity.

Ability to educate and promote Student-Athletes.

Adobe Creative Suite experience and skillset.

Microsoft Office products experience.

Required Certifications or Licensures

Must have a valid driver’s license

Department of Athletics and its fundraising arm, Seahawk Club, is a department within the Chancellor’s division.
