Job Overview- The successful candidate will serve as the primary media contact for multiple programs; produce media guides, game notes, news releases and feature stories; generate feature content, video and other unique coverage for GoLimestoneSaints.com, the official website of Limestone Athletics; respond to media requests; staff home and selected away events; supervise statistical crews and other event support personnel; assist facilitating Limestone’s social media outlets; compile statistics, research historical records for Limestone Athletics’ publications and assist the Media Relations staff with additional duties.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, high level of integrity and honesty. Candidates must have the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, must be attentive to detail and accurate in record keeping and possess an ability to work with a diverse constituency including students, parents, coaches, faculty, staff administrators and outside contacts.
Requirements- A Bachelor’s degree is required for this position. This candidate must have a commitment to and responsibility for adhering to all rules and regulations of Limestone University, the South Atlantic Conference and the NCAA. Previous successful experience at the NCAA level is preferred. The selected candidate must be willing to consent to and pass, with satisfactory results, an investigative consumer report.
