The position will serve as a video content creator for Tennessee Athletics with an emphasis assigned sports, as well as other department initiatives as assigned by VFL Films. The person hired will be responsible for collaborating with 151 Creative, Strategic Communications, Fan Experience and the creative team on innovative ideas to help build the Tennessee brand. Teamwork, Communication, Cinematography and editing will be critical skills for this position. This person will need to be flexible regarding the work schedule. Night, weekend, and holiday work will happen often. Travel will also be required. This person must have a high level of creativity and execute on those ideas. Collaboration and effective communication skills with the entire creative team will be a key component to success.
Brand Enhancement
Create engaging video content for assigned sports across several mediums including but not limited to: in-venue entertainment, digital and social media content and recruiting content.
Creatively build and promote the brand of Tennessee Athletics (as well as other sports and initiatives as assigned) by creatively telling stories of the student-athletes, the program, and staff through the utilization of various media and social media platforms.

Cinematography:
Establish plan for coverage of various events, including pre-season photo/video shoots.
Shoot games, practices, and interviews for assigned sports and other department initiatives.
Post Production/Editing
Compose fun & entertaining video pieces that target a younger audience. This person will need to bring an energetic editing style with a creative storytelling flair for videos produced
Edit and produce videos quickly and efficiently and adhere to agreed upon deadlines.
Serve as the key editor and director for all assigned sports (and other department initiatives) video and media projects including but not limited to, media days, in-venue entertainment content, social media content.
Media Management
Organize footage by labeling and copying files to VFL Films servers.
Communicate across the creative team to ensure open lines of communication on content availability & content locations.
Assist with other various Tennessee Athletics projects including, but not limited to, projects furthering and enhancing the overall brand of Tennessee Athletics as well as post-season collaboration and assistance to help enhance overall content.
Other duties as assigned by VFL Films, including events on nights & weekends, as well as select Vol Network projects.
