Videography & Graphic Design (30%)
Utilize official
UNW
Athletics social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube) to engage fans and student-athletes by delivering entertaining and informative content.
Create monthly social media campaigns and track growth and insights of all accounts.
Design and execute the creative (graphics and video content) for
UNW
athletics website and social channels. Videos and graphics will be used for recruiting purposes, game promotion and highlights and projects will be assigned by the Director of Athletic Communications.
Assist in scheduling head shots, team photos, event photography and media day shoots.
Develop recruiting materials (digital, video, print).
Athletic Communication (30%)
Serve as the primary contact for five of Northwestern’s 20
NCAA
varsity teams, including the writing of press releases, statistics management and reporting, website maintenance, printed game day program production and weekly award nominations. This position will have primary oversight of (men’s soccer and women’s cross country in the fall, women’s basketball and men’s indoor track & field in the winter and men’s tennis in the spring). Specific sport oversight may change based on expertise.
Manage marketing game day operations at home athletic events including public address scripting and assisting in the fulfillment and successful execution of corporate sponsorship elements.
Work with coaches to plan and execute special event promotion (Coaches vs. Cancer, Special Olympics, Dig Pink, etc.).
Develop game-day templates and content for electronic video board.
Eagle Sports Network (20%)
Assist with webcast and video set-up for home events.
Train student employees to use Production Truck software and create in-game graphics on
UNW
home event web streams.
Identify and train
UNW
broadcast students to do in-game commentary during all home events.
Identify and train an Eagle Sports Network student-producer to take over the scheduling of broadcast and Production Truck efforts for athletics webcast.
Schedule and conduct interviews and special content for webcasts.
Administrative Duties (20%)
Assist the Director of Athletic Communications with the hiring and management of approximately 20-25 student employees.
Assist in scheduling student employees for home athletic events.
Assist in sending student employee reminder communication on home event game days.
Serve as a site manager for athletic contests.

Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required
Previous graphic design software experience required
Previous supervisory experience preferred
Continually nurture a personal relationship with Jesus Christ; serve as a consistent witness for Jesus Christ; maintain a kind, Christ-like attitude in dealing with and ministering to people within and outside of Northwestern; and faithfully uphold and embrace Northwestern’s mission, doctrinal statement, and Declaration of Christian Community.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Graphic design creativity
Ability to effectively orchestrate webcasting
Skilled in video production
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to pay close attention to details and problem solve at a high level
Ability to prioritize tasks and complete projects accurately and within deadlines
Ability to effectively supervisor and guide student employees
Ability to maintain flexible schedule, working some weekends and evenings
Ability to secure and maintain a current, valid driver’s license and automobile
Ability to pass a background check upon hire and periodically throughout the course of employment
