Job Title: Assistant Eagle Club Director, Corporate Relations, & Ticketing Director

Reports To: Eagle Club Director & Vice President for Athletics

Supervisory Responsibilities: Assist the Eagle Club Director in overseeing corporate sponsorship and Eagle Club in Athletics. Oversee all workers regarding annual fund raising initiatives. Oversee staff, students, outside workers, or volunteers who contribute to revenue generation initiatives. All oversight will include, but is not limited to, recruitment, training, monitoring, development, and regular evaluation of performance.

• Assist in managing a portfolio of gift donors and prospects, from initial identification, discovery, cultivation, proposal development, solicitation, & through stewardship, developing plans, and programs to maximize gift revenue for capital and endowment gifts.
• Assist in developing and implementing an annual action plan to fulfill all quantifiable work performance goals for contacts, solicitation, closed gifts, and new prospects identified.
• Develop a thorough understanding of the annual giving/ticket priority/premium seating program for the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and coordinate with other appropriate staff.
• Support and work with C-N Athletics coaches and their staff to coordinate fundraising efforts, plans, and initiatives for their respective sports.
• Plan, execute, and staff prospect cultivation, hospitality, donor stewardship, recognition programs, and other special events as assigned.
• Manage sensitive and confidential information related to donors, ticket holders, corporate sponsors, student-athletes, coaches, and staff utilizing discretion and correct decisions.
• Coordinates and develops relationships across the University with departments such as advancement, Alumni relations, Alumni communications, and University events.
• Occasional travel to visit alumni and prospective donors in select areas of the Country.
• Assist in the creation of a multidimensional fundraising plan and appeal schedule that utilizes a variety of mediums focusing on retention, acquisition, and growth efforts
• Creates and manages all donor stewardship communication efforts through the direction of the Eagle Club Director(acknowledgment letters, impact reports, gift recognition levels, etc.)
• Coordinates with Associate Athletic Directors, Media Relations, & External operations to create messaging, communication calendar, and collateral for appeals and stewardship efforts.
• Assist in managing Eagle Club fund budget.
• Develop an understanding of all benefit aspects associated with individual support including but not limited to tickets, parking, hospitality, VIP trips, & gear.
• Occasional travel for major games, tournaments, and post-season events.
• Represent the University, and C-N Athletics with the highest professional level of integrity, strength of character, and ethics.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.
• Manages all facets of ticketing for Carson-Newman sports teams and assists with other C-N entertainment venues, including box office supervision, software management, and sales strategy.
• Compile and implement pass lists on game days in compliance with all NCAA, South Atlantic Conference, Carson-Newman University rules and regulations.
• Lead ticket operations, ordering and reporting processes for all constituent ticket holders.
• Serve as a liaison to campus partners (ex. Eagle Club) for reporting, distribution, and payment reconciliations.
• Vivenu ticketing software setup duties, including but not limited to batch management, sales management, and ticket scanner software.
• Duties pertaining to ticket distribution, invoicing, and renewals.
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience: Professional experience may substitute for some of the required education. 3.5 years of progressive experience in sports marketing and event management, preferably at the NCAA or NAIA institution or professional sports organization.
Required Skills: Significant skill in the use of computer software and social media platforms. Have an understanding of NCAA rules and regulations.
