Job Description Summary

A collegiate assistant coach serves as a leader, mentor, and strategist, driving the success of the team both on and off the field. Their duties include developing and implementing training programs, creating game strategies, and fostering skill development to enhance individual and team performance. The assistant coach is tasked with assisting in building a positive team culture, promoting sportsmanship, and resolving conflicts to maintain a cohesive and motivated group. Administrative responsibilities include assisting with the management of budgets, organizing travel, and ensuring compliance with NCAA and conference regulations.

  3. Compliance, Operations, & Program Administration

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Coaching, Player Development, & Game Preparation - Provide position-specific coaching during practices and competitions, focusing on technical skill development, fundamentals, and execution. - Assist in developing and implementing offensive/defensive/special teams game plans, including opponent scouting and breakdown of game film.
