Defiance College seeks applications for an anticipated opening for an Assistant Football Coach. The Defiance College Yellow Jackets will officially join the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) on July 1, 2024 for competition in the 2024-25 academic year and will become full members of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC).

The individual will assist the head coach in all phases of student-athlete mentoring and development and will support the planning and directing of all functions of the football program. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to recruiting, coaching, special teams, strength & conditioning, equipment, film, overall student-athlete instruction, game and practice planning, fundraising and student-athlete performance. The successful candidate will also be responsible for supporting the mission of Defiance College, as well as adherence to institutional, NAIA, and WHAC policies and procedures.
