Under the direction of the head coach, the assistant coach will assist the head coach with the coordination, guidance, direction and supervision of a nationally competitive football program with emphasis on academic and athletic excellence. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to coaching student-athletes, scouting and recruiting, monitoring student-athlete academic progress, competition management, camp coordination, compliance, scouting of opponents, and coordinating travel.

Advertised Salary:

Commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree.
• Strong background in skill analysis and football techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully train athletes' individual skill development and motivate players to achieve maximum levels of performance.
• Thorough knowledge of and commitment to compliance with NCAA Division I rules and regulations.
• Commitment to the academic success of student-athletes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Evidence of successful experience as a coach or player at a competitive intercollegiate level.
• Experience in conducting camps, clinics and tournaments.
• Evidence of recruiting experience along with connections to a strong football community.
