Midland University, a private, faith-based, liberal arts university in Fremont, Nebraska (just outside of metro Omaha), is seeking a Full Time Assistant Football Coach/ Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach.
Job responsibilities include:
Providing coaching and instruction during training and practice activities.
Practice preparation & video analysis of position group.
Assist with the coordination of all football strength and conditioning activities.
Work closely with the athletic training staff to help improve injury prevention and rehabilitation plans.
Monitor and track the usage of supplements and catapult tracker data.
Representing Midland University as it's NFL/XFL/USFL Liaison.
Requirements:
A bachelor's degree
Previous experience as a high school or collegiate football coach and strength coach
Great organizational skills
Great interpersonal communication skills
Basic computer skills, such as a working understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs, Team Builder, and Catapult Trackers
Availability to work a flexible schedule
Have a NSCA CSCS, CSC or CSCCA certification
Preferred to have:
A Master's degree
Have CPR/First Aid certification
