Teach, train and evaluate student athletes.
Follow all
NCAA
and
UMAC
rules and regulations. Maintain high attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
Assist Head Coach with evaluation and submission of grades for Physical Education credit.
Serve as a game manager for a sport as assigned by the Director of Athletics.

Secondary job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist with miscellaneous departmental duties as assigned by Athletic Director and/or the Head Coach.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum of one year related experience required; previous collegiate participation and/or coaching experience preferred
Proven ability to work with a diverse constituency, including students, parents, coaches, faculty and staff, administrators, and outside contacts
Continually nurture a personal relationship with Jesus Christ; serve as a consistent witness for Jesus Christ; maintain a kind, Christ-like attitude in dealing with and ministering to people within and outside of Northwestern; and faithfully uphold and embrace Northwestern’s mission, doctrinal statement, and Declaration of Christian Community.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to interact with a variety of individuals in a professional, courteous and tactful manner
Ability to communicate the uniqueness of University of Northwestern to prospective athletes and their parents
Ability to maintain a flexible schedule, working weekends and traveling with the team to all scheduled events
Knowledge and understanding of collegiate sport and
NCAA
rules and regulations
Ability to organize work and set priorities completing projects accurately and in a timely fashion
Knowledge and understanding of basic computer skills
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to work with a diverse constituency, including students, parents, coaches, faculty and staff, administrators, and outside contacts
Ability to pass a background check upon hire and periodically throughout the course of employment
Ability to secure and maintain a current, valid driver’s license and automobile
Work Environment:
The work environment involves working in a suburban, Christian university, working alongside those with a demonstrated commitment and personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a commitment to the mission and values of the University and an agreement to abide by all University policies.

Compensation Range: $45,900 – $51,000
