Waldorf University, located in Forest City, Iowa is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Defensive Football Coach. Waldorf is a NAIA school and recently joined the Great Plains Athletic Conference "GPAC" beginning with the 2024-25 year. This is a full time, 10 month, benefits eligible position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Oversee all assigned duties for the defense, including position meetings and game-day responsibilities.
• Includes on field coaching, position meetings, and film breakdown.
• Recruit designated areas.
• Assist with academic responsibilities and study hall requirements
• Assist with off-season speed and conditioning development
• Script situations and prepare practice schedules.
• All other duties designated by the Head Coach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
• Successful experience coaching at the college level preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record
