Position Summary: 
Valley City State University is searching for an Assistant Football Coach.  This position is responsible for supporting the Head Coach by coaching student athletes, recruiting, monitoring student athlete academic progress, scheduling, and overseeing the discipline, conduct, and image of the student athlete.  This is a professional coaching position, and all of the duties of the position must be conducted in adherence with the policies, rules, and regulations of affiliated national, regional, and state intercollegiate athletic associations, the North Star Athletic Association and the University.  

Minimum Qualifications:
This position requires 2 years of coaching at the high school level or above and a valid Driver’s License. 

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience coaching at the college level is preferred.  Preference given to applicants with quarterbacks, wide receivers, and/or offensive line experience, and experience necessary to compete at the NAIA level.  Demonstrated strong organizational skills, exceptional verbal, and written communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, highly motivated with an outstanding work ethic and experience coaching QB, WR or OL. are preferred.

Compensation 
$32,000-$36,000 annually depending on experience and qualifications.
