Assistant Football Coach - Offense Job Description

The Assistant Football Coach - Offense at American International College (AIC) plays a vital role in the success of the football program. This position is responsible for assisting the Head Football Coach in all phases of the program, with a primary focus on the offensive aspects of intercollegiate football and is heavily involved in recruiting student-athletes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coaching & Instruction:

    • Assist in the preparation, organization, and execution of all team practices, drills, and training sessions, focusing specifically on the offensive unit.
    • Provide individual and small-group instruction to offensive position groups (e.g., quarterbacks, running backs, receivers, offensive line), enhancing fundamental skills and scheme knowledge.
    • Develop and implement game plans, analyze opponents' defensive schemes, and scout future opponents.
    • Must have a comprehensive background assisting in all aspects of the offensive side of college football.
    • Experience as an Offensive Coordinator or with play-calling responsibilities is highly encouraged.
