Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

RECRUITING COORDINATOR

• Implement the overall recruiting strategy- Compile the AU Recruiting Rubric.
• Assign recruiting areas.
• Organize the Big Board.
• Organize/standardize recruiting list forms.
• Compile/organize all general recruiting mailings (recruits and signees).
• Construct/edit the questionnaire form.
• Invites to Junior Day, Home Games, Official & Workout visits, Signees Reception.
• Contact person for Scouting Ohio.
• Update IRL.
• Official Visits: Invites, Overall schedule, Transcripts, Eligibility Center, Host forms, Hotel Reservations, Academic appointments, Meals.
• Workout Visits – Invites, Overall schedule, Physicals, Forms, Reservations, Meals.
• Work with admin to secure Financial Aid Agreements (NCAA & Ashland).
• Contact/evaluate/schedule visits for the top recruits in your area.
• Admission and eligibility of recruits from your area.
• Primary: North Central Ohio, Toledo.
• Secondary: Dallas/Fort Worth (Texas)/Detroit & Eastern Michigan.
• Be involved in the recruitment of all Safety scholarship candidates.
• Organize/update the Big Board for all Safeties.

OFFENSE: WR

• Assist with Offensive video study and game plan.
• Practice: Individual drills for the WR.
• Game: Receive play call from the Press Box and signal to the QB/Big Skill group.
• Evaluation, development and discipline of WR.
• WR trainer and tip sheets.
• Scouting report: Coverages, Red Zone & Coming Out.

KICKING

• Practice: Designated assignment with the “Core 4” and Scan Punt.
• Gameday: Sideline – Personnel for Punt Block & Kickoff Return Teams, designated assignment with the “Core 4” and Scan Punt.

RECRUITING

• Contact/evaluate/schedule visits for the top recruits in your area.
• Admission and eligibility of recruits from your area.
• Primary: Cleveland.
• Secondary: Detroit & Eastern Michigan.
• Be involved in the recruitment of all WR scholarship candidates.
• Organize/update the Big Board for all WR’s.

VIDEO COORDINATOR

• Maintain and upgrade video equipment.
• Transportation of video equipment.
• Film/edit all practice and games (Coordinate with the Stallions).
• Opponent and Self-scout cut-ups (work with the GA’s).
• Video exchanges with opponents.
• Video needs for all team functions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Candidates must have the ability to successfully impart football knowledge.
• Previous coaching and/or playing experience on the college level is highly desired.
• The ability to identify and recruit student-athletes is required.
• This position requires well-developed communication skills, as well as strong time management and organizational skills.
• The ability to manage a budget is desired.
• The ability to work weekends and evenings is required. This position requires extensive travel, both in recruiting and games.
