Under general supervision of the General Manager of Football Recruiting & Personnel, the Assistant General Manager of Football Recruiting & Personnel will serve in the role of managing the entire football recruiting operation, while also overseeing projected roster numbers and roster management. This includes managing the football recruiting budget, advising the head coach and assistant coaches on all administrative areas involving recruiting and overseeing all administrative recruiting duties.

Minimum of five to seven years of recruiting experience as a college coach, scout, or recruiting coordinator.
Ability to exercise sound judgment and to handle sensitive and confidential information/material with discretion.
Ability to interact diplomatically with individuals of various social, economic, cultural, and educational backgrounds.
Superior public relations skills, including outstanding interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships and correspondence with staff, faculty, media, recruits, visiting coaches, donors, parents and Conference and NCAA officials.
Ability to plan and prioritize assignments and work independently to complete assignments despite various deadlines, competing requirements and changing priorities.
Ability to perform under stress and maintain composure in the face of resistance, indifference or hostility.
Ability to organize and maintain a calendar system.
Working knowledge of contracts and demonstrated budgetary skills.
Working knowledge of University purchasing and accounting policies and procedures.
Demonstrate word processing and computer skills to complete assignments with speed and accuracy.
Ability to operate a computer with working knowledge of various computer software systems including: Microsoft Office, JumpForward, Teamworks, Hudl, XOs, Prep Tracker, Page Maker, VISIO and database entry.
Knowledge of University policies and procedures.
Knowledge of Conference and NCAA rules and regulations.
