Job Description

First line of contact that ensures the overall professional services related to the golf experience for members and guests is superior.

Assist head professional in day-to-day operations
Provide golf instruction, assist in conducting golf clinics, tournaments and special events.
Play with members and their guests. Continue to work on your game.
Monitor scheduling system.
Assist in making sure the golf shop is maintained in a neat and clean manner daily.
Assist in the monthly inventory.
Train student employees.
Coordinate the receiving and pricing merchandise with the Professional Staff.
Ensure the daily, weekly, and monthly procedures are being followed.
Possess a thorough understanding of overall golf operation.
Ensure that all golf shop supplies, and all reports are maintained correctly.
Self-Starter
Oversees golf car management, including, but not limited to, golf car staging area, bag drop service area, and golf car barn.
Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Required Education: High School diploma or GED

24 months of experience in a golfing environment

Skills :

Able to communicate well and build rapport quickly with student, faculty, and staff
Excellent professional customer service
Knowledge of club rules

Certifications :

Valid Driver's License to drive university vehicles

Advertised Physical Requirements:

Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
Able to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to engage in repetitive motions.
Exposure to extreme temperatures.
