The Sports Medicine Office is responsible for the health and welfare of over 600 student-athletes. Assist in preventative and rehabilitative care for all student-athletes.

Serve as the Insurance Coordinator for the Chester Grant Sports Medicine Center in Reynolds Coliseum, supporting the delivery of medical, mental health, and performance services to student-athletes through insurance coordination, medical documentation management, scheduling, and administrative support.
This position is open only for current, permanent NC State Employees.
Qualifications
| Minimum Experience/Education |
Bachelor’s degree and one year of experience related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

| Preferred Qualifications |
- Experience working in a medical office, athletics, or university health center environment supporting patient scheduling, insurance verification, and medical documentation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of HIPAA regulations and experience handling protected health information in a compliant setting.
- Working knowledge of medical terminology and common sports-related injuries and procedures.
- Experience managing precertification processes, insurance coordination, and follow-up documentation for medical visits.
- Proven ability to interpret written and verbal policy information, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced administrative setting.
