Summary

Saint Xavier University seeks applicants for Assistant Men’s and Women’s Golf Coach to be responsible for assisting and reporting to the Head Men’s and Women’s Golf Coach in the administration of a comprehensive collegiate Men’s and Women’s Golf program that will help make the college a leader in the industry for both a varsity program and on-campus opportunities including the recruitment and retention of student-athletes interested in golf, coaching of students, facility management, team scheduling, and community outreach. The position is a stipend position.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with the recruiting process of prospective student-athletes for golf including required information for admission to the school and continuing conversations and contact with prospective student-athletes. Help with coordination and execution of practice, competition, and travel

• Conduct coaching and instruction activities during training, practice, and competition.

• Aid in the development of marketing and communications materials for the golf program.

• Contribute to oversight of the golfing venues to maintain the safety of students and equipment within the space

Community Responsibilities

• Attend admissions/golf events on and off campus to answer questions and support students interested in golf

• Interact with communities outside of Saint Xavier interested in esports

Qualifications

• Collegiate golf playing and coaching experience

• Availability to work primarily nights and weekends

• Willingness to travel as needed
