Job Description:

Berry College invites applications and nominations for the full-time, 10-month position of assistant men's lacrosse coach with additional responsibilities to be assigned depending on the successful candidates' skill set and experiences.

RESPONSIBILTIES:

Reporting to the Head Men's Lacrosse Coach, the candidate will be responsible for assisting the Head Coach with the organization, supervision, and administration ofNCAA Division III intercollegiate lacrosse program. The candidate will also demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to a liberal arts education, Division III athletics, and an appreciation for and commitment to all NCAA,Southern Athletic Association (SAA), and institutional rules and regulations. Other duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, recruitment of academically and athletically qualified student-athletes, budget management, practice and game preparation, strength & conditioning, marketing, alumni relations, equipment management, community service coordinating, event planning, travel logistics, and scouting, and a commitment to the student-athletes academic progress and degree completion. Along with coaching responsibilities, the candidates will be assigned additional responsibilities dependent on the successful candidates' skill set and experience

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree required. Master's Degree preferred. Previous coaching and teaching experience on the collegiate level is preferred. This position includes competitive benefits and a salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
