Assistant Men’s Lacrosse Coach

Wabash College, a NCAA Division III institution and member of the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC), seeks a passionate and dedicated Assistant Men’s Lacrosse Coach to join our athletics staff. This full-time position offers an opportunity to contribute to a program that values excellence, character, and academic rigor.

Position Summary:
The Assistant Coach will support the Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach in all aspects of coaching, recruiting, and program administration. We're looking for someone who brings energy, a high lacrosse knowledge, and a deep commitment to the student-athlete experience within a competitive academic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with planning and conducting practices and game preparation
• Provide on-field instruction and motivation to student-athletes
• Support the recruitment of high-character student-athletes who align with Wabash’s mission
• Foster positive relationships with recruits, players, alumni, campus partners, and the broader lacrosse community
• Ensure compliance with all NCAA, NCAC, and institutional policies
• Contribute to the overall operation, culture, and success of the lacrosse program
• Utilize modern technology and social media to support team operations and recruiting

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Previous coaching and/or collegiate playing experience in men’s lacrosse
• Demonstrated ability to recruit and retain quality student-athletes
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, recruiting platforms, social media, and video analysis tools
