NOTICE OF JOB POSTING

JOB TITLE: Assistant Men’s Tennis Coach

EMPLOYER: Louisiana State University and A&M College

JOB DUTIES: Assist with all aspects of the men's tennis program including: on-court coaching during competitions and practices, recruitment of student-athletes, academics, NCAA compliance, strength and conditioning, and administrative responsibilities. Engage in evaluation, management, fundraising, and budgeting for the team. Advance and support LSU and its Athletics Department’s diversity and inclusion initiatives through personal participation in educational and developmental opportunities, as well as participation in the creation of an inclusive culture consistent with the values of LSU and its Athletics Department.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree and 12 months experience coaching tennis at collegiate or professional level. Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations and ability to work extended days and weekends. Travel is required 25% of the year and includes team travel and recruitment visits to unspecified locations. Proficiency in Spanish preferred.

HOURS OF WORK PER WEEK: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Must have ability to work extended days and weekends.
