Brewton-Parker College has an immediate opening for an Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach. The assistant coach will be responsible for assisting the Men’s Head Coaches in all aspects of the Soccer program. Brewton-Parker competes in the ultra-competitive Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC).
Applicants must first and foremost be committed to discipleship of their student-athletes. The successful applicant will also sign a “Lifestyle Standard Agreement”. The program will be conducted in accordance with all Brewton-Parker College, SSAC, and NAIA regulations and policies, and must promote the mission and vision of Brewton-Parker College as well as the goals and objectives of the athletic department.

Apply NowPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
● Reserve Team Management: Oversee the daily operations of the reserve team, including practice planning, skill development, and game-day preparation.
● Recruiting: Identify, evaluate, and recruit talented student-athletes who are a good fit for our program and university, adhering to all NAIA recruiting regulations.
● First Team Support: Assist the Head Coach in all aspects of the first team, including practice planning, film breakdown, and scouting opponents.
● Strength and Conditioning: Design and implement dynamic stretching routines for the first team, focusing on injury prevention and performance optimization.
● Administrative Duties: Manage team logistics, travel arrangements, equipment inventory, and budget tracking.
● Student-Athlete Development: Monitor student-athletes’ academic progress, promote a culture of academic excellence, and provide support and mentorship.
● Game Day Operations: Assist with pre-game setup, halftime adjustments, and post-game analysis.
● Community Engagement: Represent the program in a positive light at community events and camps
QUALIFICATIONS:
Qualified candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Management, or a related field (preferred). Minimum of 2 years of coaching experience at the collegiate or high school level. Proven experience in player development and skill instruction. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Strong understanding of the NAIA recruiting rules and regulations. Commitment to the NAIA Champions of Character program. First Aid and CPR certification preferred. The successful candidate will have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and the ability to successfully disciple student athletes. The candidate should also possess strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks and work within a budget, excellent written and oral skills, knowledge of computer applications, fundraising, event planning, camps and financial management, the ability to work weekends, evenings, including travel, and can demonstrate commitment to or experience working with diverse populations. Candidates must be able to recruit mission appropriate student athletes at a high level within the scholarship structure as determined by the Vice-President of Enrollment Services and Athletics. Must be able to lift and move equipment, maintain a valid driver’s license, and transport the team as needed.
