Review all transfer athlete files (e.g. NCAA exception has been determined by Compliance; all official transcripts are verified with full-time and part-time enrollment; transfer credits have been properly evaluated by Admissions; all remaining documents including transfer release forms are included in file.) Track and report fall, spring and summer degree applicable hours. Certify enrollment and credit hours. Monitor squad lists, files and information until each process has been certified through completion. Maintain student-athlete database, academic eligibility documents, student athlete (SA) rosters with certification signatures. Provide backup for athletic responsibilities of Associate Director of Transfer Admissions.
40% - Essential - Student Records Management:
Monitor student academic records from matriculation to graduation. Enter various academic record updates for all undergraduate students in iROAR. Coordinate record keeping with operations staff in tasks that support records maintenance and verify degree requirements. Utilize degree works to ensure that graduating seniors fulfill graduation requirements. Stay abreast of academic regulations and curricular requirements and evaluates their impact on students. Advise students and parents on the Family Educational rights and Privacy Act and limit access to educational records as required by Federal law.
20% - Essential - Athletic Compliance:
Certify 100% University compliance for satisfactory progress and continuing eligibility for student athletes. Interpret, monitor and apply National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) rules and regulations. Coordinate availability of SA grade and degree progress reports for eligibility certification process at necessary points. Compile and maintain 5th year and mid-year lists for evaluation by Compliance Services. Communicate with Student Athlete Academic Services to facilitate transfer of information for academic support for student athletes. Input and validate NCAA data (APR/GSR) and SA tracking codes. Maintain archives of all academic data reports related to academic and certification processes for student athletes.
Education - Bachelor's Degree and experience in student services programming.
Experience - 3 years of relevant experience
Experience with NCAA regulations and requirements related to student-athlete eligibility is preferred.
