JOB SUMMARY

Assist the Head Men's and Women's Soccer Coaches with recruiting, scouting and practice planning.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform competition day duties as assigned, working daily with our goalkeepers

• Assist with practice and competition day management and activities for all players, work on overall team strategy with special emphasis on keepers.

• Prepare goalies for game day, participation in selection.

• Help with the planning and organization of camps and clinics.

OTHER DUTIES AND ASSIGNMENTS

• Know and comply with all NCAA rules and regulations, and pass the NCAA Coaches Certification Exam annually.

• Must be CPR and First Aid certified.

• Provide positive leadership for student-athletes.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor’s degree, master’s degree preferred.

Experience: 1 to 3 years of goalkeeping experience.

Licenses or Certifications: CPR and First Aid certified

Financial Responsibility: None

Supervision: None

Special Knowledge: Know and comply with all NCAA rules and regulations, and pass the NCAA Coaches Certification Exam annually.

SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS

• Ability to travel; heavy lifting required (50 pounds and over); may be required to work when the university is closed. 

• Ability to work in less than ideal weather conditions

• Ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays
