About this position

McPherson College seeks a motivated Assistant Softball Coach to support all aspects of a competitive collegiate softball program. Responsibilities include assisting with daily operations, practices, weight and conditioning sessions, and team transportation. The position also involves recruiting, game preparation, academic monitoring, and contributing to community and fundraising activities.

Special consideration will be given to candidates with pitching experience, including the ability to develop training plans and lead pitching instruction.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills, a commitment to student-athlete development, and the ability to serve as a positive role model.

This is a full-time, 12-month position with benefits and on-campus housing. A bachelor’s degree is required; collegiate playing or coaching experience is preferred.
