Job Description:

This Assistant Softball Coach will assist the Head Coach in all areas of operating an elite college softball program. The successful candidate will have the ability to multi-task efficiently, communicate at a high level, and be extremely organized. The Assistant Softball Coach will report to the Head Softball Coach.

Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

• Serve as the Pitching Coach and Recruiting Coordinator
• Prepare opponent scouting reports
• Organize team travel (hotels, meals, etc)
• Assist with team workouts
• Coordinate field maintenance
• Represent the softball program and the university in the community
• Monitor CARA for the softball program

Additional Duties and Responsibilities (Non-Essential Functions):

• Keep up with the latest in player development techniques
• Be engaged at campus events
• Camp Coordinator
• Monitor student-athlete academic progress

Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree required
• College Coaching Experience required
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks
• Computer skills
