Assistant Softball Coach
Salary: $4,000/year
Classification: Part-Time
Reports to: Director of Athletics & BSC
Duties will include, but not limited to; assisting the head coach in all phases of an intercollegiate softball program, recruiting within conference guidelines, teaching advanced softball skills, assisting with the monitoring of individual’s academic progress, overseeing transportation of the team, participate in fundraising activities, encouraging and demonstrating good sportsmanship, and processing of appropriate institutional and conference paperwork.
This position reports directly to the Director of Athletics and the Head Softball Coach.

Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Demonstrated understanding of intercollegiate softball rules and regulations.
- Experience as a softball coach
- Current First Aid/CPR certification.
- Valid unrestricted Washington State Driver’s License.
Preferred** Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree
- Demonstrated experience as a softball coach, with experience at the high school, club or college level preferred.

Terms of Employment
Assistant Coaches will be paid $4,000 annually.
Conditions of Employment
Prior to a new hire, a background check including criminal record history will be conducted. Information from the background check will not necessarily preclude employment but will be considered in determining the applicant's suitability and competence to perform in the position. In addition to the background check, candidates will be required to complete the Sexual Misconduct Disclosure Form as required WB HB 2327.
