• Media Relations: Secure coverage for Hastings College varsity sports, create media guides, and organize media days.
• Website Management: Keep our athletic website updated with event results and news.
• Game Day Operations: Assist with venue setup, media support, and reporting scores.
• Press Releases: Write and distribute pre-season and post-season press releases for all sports.
• Media Coordination: Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications office for team photos and feature stories.
• Information Requests: Respond to media and public inquiries regarding athletic information.
• Staff Management: Hire and train student workers for game day duties.
• Reporting: Provide necessary reports to the Athletic Director and coordinate athlete nominations for honors programs.
• Customer Service: Maintain a high degree of customer service and support for students and team members.

Qualifications:

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree with at least one year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
