Albright College is seeking applications for Assistant Sports Information Director. For this part time position, assist sports information director, with day-to-day operations of the program; will serve as the primary contact for several sports and will be responsible for writing press releases, keeping statistics, compiling records and maintaining the athletics website. The chosen candidate will also share in social media and webcasting responsibilities and other duties assigned by director.

1. Assist director with day to day operations.
2. Maintain Albright Athletics Social Media Sites (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram)
3. Design Game programs
4. Write press releases/game recaps
5. Maintain team statistics
6. Compile statistics using Statcrew/NCAA Genius software program
7. Design graphics for social media use

Qualifications/Prerequisites:

1. COMMUNICATION:

   1. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.

2. SKILLS:

   1. Previous work as a graduate assistant in sports information.
   2. Basic experience with StatCrew and NCAA Genius statistical programs.
   3. Familiarity with athletics website maintenance, photography, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.
   4. Demonstrated commitment to building an inclusive and equitable Albright community, as described in Albright College’s Inclusivity and Equity Statement.

3. EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE:

   1. Previous experience in sports information office and/or athletics department. College or professional newspaper setting.

4. EDUCATION:

   1. Bachelor’s Degree required.

5. LICENSES:

   1. Driver’s license required.
   2. Child clearances required.
