University of Denver Golf Club at Highlands Ranch is an 18-hole, semi-private golf club featuring a Hale Irwin designed championship golf course. The University of Denver Golf Club is a part of the Division of Athletics & Recreation of the University of Denver.

In its history, DU has won 32 national championships and enables student-athletes to compete on 17 Division 1 teams. Position Summary
The golf course Assistant Superintendent assists the superintendent with the responsibilities of managing and maintaining properties to include; the golf course, practice area, club house grounds and landscaping, on course restrooms, open space and unused areas, etc. Assist the superintendent to supervise maintenance work to achieve the most efficient utilization or workers and equipment.

Working Environment
An employee in this job is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions, occasionally exposed to wet and/or cold conditions. The noise level in the work environment may be loud.
Physical Activities
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to hold or feel, reach with hands and arms, walk, talk, smell and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, crouch and crawl. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and depth perception. The employee regularly lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds and occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 100 pounds.
Work Schedule
Monday - Sunday, must be available to work weekends.

The salary grade for the position is 9.
Salary Range:
The salary range for this position is $60,000-$65,000
