Job Description:

The Assistant to the Director of Athletics will provide support to the Director of Athletics and Athletics staff in the overall administration, development, implementation and daily operations of all varsity athletic programs to assure the efficient, effective operation of the department. This position will provide guidance and assistance to the university administration, coaches, staff, student athletes and outside constituents. It will provide staff leadership, advance the change process, implement strategies and time frames to accomplish organization objectives and help resolve problems.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.

Experience

• Three years of experience in demanding office/environment with progressively more responsible duties
• Previous experience in athletics and college related activities.

(Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered.)
