Job Description:
Berry College invites applications and nominations for the full-time Assistant to the Director of Athletics Internship.
Reporting to the Director of Athletics, the successful candidate will assist the Director of Athletics in the continued growth of Viking Athletics. The candidate will demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to a liberal arts education, Division III athletics, and an appreciation for NCAA, and institutional culture. The candidate should possess good written & verbal communication skills, strong computer skills, and strong interpersonal, and management abilities. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. Previous athletic experience at the high school or collegiate level is preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office is required.
Additional Information:
Position available 2024-25 and 2025-26. Salary: $30,000 annually for 10 months (August-May) plus full benefits. Annual $3000 stipend for professional development.
